Temple worship has had a glorious tradition in India and over the years there have been many temples built for different Gods and Goddesses. In the Hindu religion, people believe the only way of establishing a relationship with God is through an animal mediator, such as the bull, snake and elephant.

For example, devotees will often whisper their prayers and wishes into the ear of a Temple Nandi, the bull that represents the vehicle of Lord Shiva.
