Our neighborhood, where kids know how to have fun on a hot summer’s day, is currently full of kids all day every day, now that school has been out for a while. The usual suspects are at it again, thinking about how to get airborne.

Yes…it’s very common to see children with homemade kites and bicycle tires with sticks here in our part of the world. It reminds me of pictures I’ve seen from when my father was a boy growing up in NYC during the Great Depression. Thanks for the comment Sinclair!
