Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea plants are strong-growing plants with an enormous range, from dry Mediterranean regions to the cool, wet climates found in hill ranges of the India’s Western Ghats. Native to South America but naturalized world-wide, the ornamental plant blooms throughout the year.

The flower is actually very tiny but each yellow or white cluster is surrounded by bracts that have been cultivated into dozens of colors, making these plants a very common ornamental flower worldwide.
