From Bike Share programs to recycled wheels, Tour de France to backwater byways, bicycles are universal, or at least global.
More than just a method of transportation, they are often a form of expression, of the person riding it or the job they do.
Kate Hinds writes in Transportation Nation about “tricked out” bikes to borrow during NY Fashion Week, and Pattie Baker has shared photos of the Dunwoody Community Garden Food Bike used to transport produce to the nearby Food Bank that the garden supports.
It really gets the wheels turning doesn’t it?
