More on Urban Decay

I’ve portrayed urban decay  in an artistic light once or twice before – and since then, Kochi has had nothing but time to become more pitted and scarred (in a pleasant and non-violent way). The same walls I’ve walked past a dozen times seem to have sprouted roots – literally.

Of course, not all roots are stealthy enough to grow inside walls and burst them at the corners in macropsiacal form – some are forced to creep and crawl their way from ledges down walls, finally settling into the ground. They sometimes make for very odd sights.

Not to imply that plants are the root of urban decay –  they are merely one of many actors on a stage. One of my other favorites, discussed previously, is cracking paint. See it peel.
