A group from Flamingo Tours staying at Cardamom County has shared their experience of Periyar Tiger Reserve with us. Ms. Nirali Shah along with her group of 20 people visited Periyar and shared her photos and comments.

We were very exited to visit Periyar National Park at Thekkady. We were told by our friends that one can have very good sightings of animals there. This was my first time in Kerala and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the National Park. We were quite lucky to spot elephants and some birds. The birds were far away but we caught them with binoculars. Our group also spotted the Nilgiri Langur (often called  Black Monkey). Even though we didn’t spot so many animals we were quite happy and enjoyed the nature of Periyar Tiger Reserve.- Ms. Nirali & group
