Gladiolus Flowers are widely cultivated throughout India and the rest of the world. Their longevity (8- 10 days) and wide range of colors (including white, cream, orange, yellow, pink, red, lavender, blue, purple and terra cotta) make them one of the most popular commercial cut flowers in the domestic market.
They are also known as sword lily due to their sword shaped leaves. The optimum temperature for growing these plants is 18- 24 Celsius and they thrive up to altitudes of 2000 m. The birth flower of August, Gladiolus stands for strength of character, faithfulness and honesty.
