About a month ago I reported that coffee was going strong here at the resort, and since then we’ve been serving our own Xandari-grown coffee here at the restaurant during breakfast hours nearly every day possible, based on availability of the roasted product. In the video above, you can see the process in condensed form, although we’ve since found a better vessel for putting the coffee in with improved heat transfer, which speeds up the roasting. Since the beans were honey-processed, after they’re done roasting they smell really rich–actually like toasted peanuts, which even shows up in the aroma of the brewed coffee.
