We have changed our coffee labels, but continue to use kraft bags, and continue to find ways to re-use those with the old style labels. Above, and below, case in point.
Chickpeas, aka garbanzo beans, are another case in point:
I was reminded to share these alternate uses today when I emptied the bag on the left into a pot and covered with water for later cooking.
Instead of using the usual rubber band to keep the remaining full bag closed, the empty bag makes a good cover for it.
While not elegant, it gets the job done.
