Members of one family will choose non-urban views most of the time (but not all of the time, as we have said more than once after visiting big cities).  To each, their own. German photographer Christoph Gielen, inspired by this phenomenon of suburban hypergrowth and subsequent stagnancy, snapped a series of aerial photographs of sprawl in places like Arizona, Nevada, and Florida.
