On my final morning of this visit to the Cornell campus I started a walk at sunrise. I discovered that parking lots around campus now have learning embedded in them.
The first example of this was at the parking lot overlooking Libe Slope, next to the Arts Quad.
The Botanic Gardens are wonderful any time of year, but in early autumn especially, so I made that the destination of my walk, and the signage kept standing out in my attention.
Bees, a theme we often riff on, were a vital part of my walk’s discoveries.
My next post will share more of what I was hoping to find, and found in abundance, at the Botanic Gardens.
